The Canoga 300 series of concrete mixers are towable with a welded structural tubing and channel frame with cast steel pinion gear and torsion bar suspension. They feature a geared dump system for better control and gravity latch for secure drum position. A heavy-duty 10-gauge drum fabricated with 1/4" steel bottom and 3/8" thick reinforcing ring. They are powered by a 1-1/2" HP TEFC electric motor with dual V belts.
The drum measures 34" in diameter with a 19" opening and the tow-tongue includes a cast iron 2" ball hitch and heavy-duty safety chain. They feature three paddles with three blades each plus three open type bowl gussets for superior mixing and easy cleaning. There are 49 different possible drum positions with machine cut gears for easy turning and gravity latch for secure drum locations.
The engine house is mig welded using 12 & 14 gauge sheet metal with heavy duty piano hinge for durability and the motor is mounted on heavy duty angle iron to reduce vibration and fatigue. There are seven grease fittings for ease of lubrication and maintenance and the chassis and yoke have been fabricated from structural tubing and channeled for greater strength.
