MK-1590 Rail Saw - Wet Cutting

This is the MK-1590 wet cutting rail saw. This saw uses a 12" blade which can cut 2 7/8" deep on vertical cuts. This saw may also be set at a 45 degree angle for miter cuts. At a 45 degree this saw has a depth of cut of 2 1/4". The saw has 2 6’ sets of tandem rails which may be joined together for cutting full slabs, and the rails have slip-on pads to make sure you don’t scratch the stone! This is a version of the Barranca saw with a few cost cutting differences.

The cutting head is a 13 amp 1 3/4hp direct drive motor that is attached to the rails with precision maintenance free bearings so there is no lateral movement. This will make sure you are making true cuts. The blade is a continuous rim so the cuts will be very clean and very aggressive.

This package comes complete with two sets of 72" tandem tracks, track connector plate, 12" blade capacity cutting head, a 12" continuous rim diamond blade, two hold-down clamps and standard garden hose water connector. At 95 pounds this saw is light enough for one person to move around and heavy duty enough for all your slab work. It also comes with a 1 year limited warranty which covers defects in workmanship & materials, but does not cover maintenance items (in other words when you wear out the brushes or the diamond blade they are not covered by a warranty).
